Revenue share and what stays yours

When a client project runs on space ocr through you, we pay back 10% of that project's API usage fees in cash. There is no time limit — it continues for as long as the project runs. Implementation work — evaluating documents, designing fields, initial setup, integrating with existing systems, ongoing support — is billed by you and stays entirely yours. We do not set or review those amounts. There is no minimum usage and no long-term contract, and commercial use in client work is permitted.

Two billing arrangements

Choose based on whether the client wants to hold and manage API usage themselves. Both are eligible for the 10% share.

A. The client contracts with us directly
The client holds the account and pays the API fees. This is the one case where we need a note from you before the client signs, so we can record the project as coming through you. The company or project name is enough — whatever you are able to share at that point.
B. You contract and manage it
You hold the account and deliver OCR to the client as part of your own system or service. You are not bound to our per-page price when you bill your client; set that yourself. We bill you for API usage only.

Proposals and rollout

You do not need our permission to name space ocr in a proposal. Get in touch once the project firms up, or earlier if you need a technical answer before the proposal is final. We suggest running the client's actual documents through the API first, then bringing us whatever the results raise. If you run short of credits while evaluating a project, we will top them up at no charge. We are also available on field and validation design.

Operations and continuity

Ordinary questions go through the contact form. For anything urgent that affects a client system already in production, write to oisidonut@gmail.com instead. Say that it is a partner project and describe what is happening and what it affects, and we will look at it first. We do not currently offer an SLA with a recovery-time commitment. If we ever discontinue the service, we will give at least three months' notice as a rule, and we will work out a migration period with you individually where a client system already depends on it. Legal obligations and serious security matters are the exception to that notice period.

Talk about a project

How the share is paid out, whether a given document type will work, what to put in a proposal — you can ask before the project is decided.
